That fountain in New York (and other places), you know the one: a bunch of paving blocks with holes in them, flush with the rest of the pavement; water shoots up in a pre-determined pattern and people try to walk through without getting wet...

Anyways, something a bit more...active: the paving blocks have pressure sensors which feeds a computer which calculates the persons most probable path through the fountain area. As soon as the program determines that he/she is deepest into the area that the path will take, the program starts: shooting water out of not only whichever square the person steps on but the most likely next one he/she will jump to. Water does not shoot up above eye level because that would just be cruel.

the kids would catch on to this quickly and would defeat it. I like the random shooting.

Why a program? Why not do what Sesame place does for some of its water sprays, and give the controls over to other kids? Oh, wait, maybe because that would be Baked.
