A large cube of several meters rests in the corner of the room, taking up most of the space from ceiling to floor.

It is a four sided cube, well constructed of wood with strong structural support at its joints. One of the open sides faces the entrance to the room. The other opening on the opposite side, is obstructed by a matrix that fills the springy box.

On closer inspection of the matrix, it is composed of nylon twine that crisscrosses horizontally vertically and diagonally from points where they are attached on the wood frame by thousands of tiny eye screws.

The tension of the twine is such that it gives some under resistance from an inserted arm, only to pull more taut elsewhere in the matrix. The most give is in the middle of the soft nylon matrix where the crisscrossing lengths are least supported.

The softness of the nylon combined with the inviting giving of tension accommodates more than an inserted arm. This matrix is meant to be climbed into. Inserted arms make way for a curious head followed by a torso and legs that swim through the tight webbing.

After some careful navigating, testing paths of least resistance, a body may find itself suspended in a variety of positions within the matrix. You may choose to rest in whatever position you find comfortable while suspended within the springy supportive softness of the Mattrix.
