Short-Term Memory Pendant:
Small silver-dollar shaped device which records the last 5 seconds of your voice talking, activating only when there's vibration from your chest as well as an external noise. And an Explicit Recording Mode for shopping lists.
Usage:
For when you find yourself
in the kitchen having rushed there but can't remember why... just click the pendant and (this is for you 8th) hear your own voice mumbling "cat, garberator". Now you only need figure out if you were to remove or emplace said feline from/in said device.
Other Models...
Earring: ...constantly buffers the last minute or so, so you don't have to ask a person to repeat the directions they just gave you that you couldn't follow because of the bikini contest across the road. Optionally set "record" mode for longer conversations with salespeople and politicians so you can later analyze just what they actually said... Small USB plug included.
Alzheimers Bracelet: Simple model based on the features of the Pendant, but also includes a preset button which can tell you who you are, where you live, etc.
This post dedicated to 10 minutes ago when I found myself in the bathroom with no clue and going through an impromptu checklist: use the toilet ? nope nope that's not it... wash my hands ? nope, they're not dirty... brush teeth ? done so that's not it... aspirin ? nope, no headache, etc. etc. etc. ad irritabilis. post with some of the same ideas

more complex and imho not easily cheaply doable with today's tech

//conversations with salespeople and politicians so you can later analyze just what they actually said// Working in an aggressively sales-led company for the last couple of years, I can confirm that there should be little or no need for this analysis stage, since the answer is nearly always bollocks. And if it isn't, that's because you haven't analysed it enough yet. |

I like (sarcastic definition) that modern car purchase agreements generally contain the line which translates as "what the salesman said doesn't count" |

It'd be useful to have an item of jewellery hanging round one's neck, to visually remind one of the different rules for possessive apostrophes and grocer's apostrophe's. What could you call such an item? |

I'll take two, one to remind me where I put the other. |

I like the earing idea, though you need a guy version. I fixate sometimes and would love sometimes to get the missed conversation. |

I thought this was going to be a ring with a micro-USB memory stick instead of a jewel. Finger extensions would be needed to type on the keyboard, of course. |
