Any Idea is converted into a meta description and then related to any other idea. so the idea of a new knitting structure for a tea cosy can be used for paint texture or a new way to line up children at school assembly. (or visa versa)
the programme would be abit like halfbakery without the
directories.
(the put you in your place comments would still be welcome)

okay then; get back in your place right now! also um...me no comprende! |

Is this similar to Douglas Adam's idea of reducing the path of swallows' wings to mathematical form and using the resultant algorithm to generate a piece of music? If so, then WTCTTIS. Sorry. |

Let me see if I'm anywhere close to this: take idea X, perform statistically probable function of idea X, (ie. a likely application or extension of some concept). Note results. |
|
| |
Now take idea Y, and perform statistically probable function of idea Y. Note results. |
|
| |
Note any standard features occuring between Y's function and X's. Label standard features as function set Q. |
|
| |
Now take idea Z. Use reoccuring segments found in set Q, and apply to idea Z. Note results. |

Admittedly, a main problem is needed,
say how to get a large mass into orbit?
All the ideas will converge from areas closely related
to craft and energy propulsion.
How can ideas be stimulated from a larger database
so more craft forms are achieved at the desired result ?. Symbolise / open the mind to more wacky ideas and process the data symbolistically .
The bigger the mind the better right?
(How would physics of soil coaggulation ideas or kilrian aura photography relate to rockets) |

I think we studied a metafor engine when I studied AI.
A ~ B as X ~ Y
you told it a couple of relations between A and B and it then tried to apply them to X and Y. Such as the atomic model and the solar systems relations. |

Could find out the guy who did the engine but I cant be bothered goin through me notes just now. =) |

Doing the math behind the decision making may better help us understand the problems, thus allowing for more educated choices? Is this idea the footpath leading to the Grand Unification Theory? + |
