Moiré Hair

Coiffure capability for fascinating interference patterns

Two or more repetitive patterns of lines, overlapped with imperfect alignment, will cause a moiré pattern to appear. This extra and dynamic dimension to a hairstyle can be achieved by fixing sections of the hair into lines of parallel strands.

A new hair care appliance, for professional and private use, simultaneously combs the hair while applying a fast acting, gel, soluble in warm water. By drawing through two or more hair segments in varying angles or curves, a captivating moiré pattern forms in the observer’s eye.

Any slight movement of the wearer or viewer results in large-scale changes in the appealing pattern of light.

FJ, why do you draw the women sexy and the men worried?

Maybe the guy's looking in a mirror?

A variation: the tattooed comb-over. Tattoo a series of fine lines onto a bald spot (or, to be really different, your forehead) and comb hair over it at a slight angle.

That’s pretty close to the view in my mirror - first thing in the morning that is.

Why stop with hair? High fashion designers could use this: imagine two-layer club wear generating freaky hypnotic moire patterns as the wearer gyrates on the dance floor. Talk about not being able to take your eyes of that guy or girl!

God help me... I can recognize an FJ idea simply by the title.

I'd be worried too, if I had a moiré mohawk mullet.

I find I tend to have *less* hair these days.

Does anyone else think the woman looks like Angelina Jolie?
