Mousetrap Shoes
Standard mouse trap mechanism, built into the architecture of a shoe. | |
It's curious that someone far too lazy to hunch over and perform the few steps required to put on and remove a pair of shoes, had modified the white cotton socks on his feet to resemble small rodents.
Two little black eyes and a small pink nose with matching ears on each foot inched closer to the
Mouse Trap Shoes, that admittedly smelled quite a bit like cheese. The left mouse wriggled into the awaiting shoe and as the small nose reached the toe cheese, a platform was actuated in the heel, slamming the shoe closed.
The right mouse, responding to the squeaks of alarm from his trapped companion who was held in place by the padded steel tongue mechanism, held down the heel of the shoe as the left mouse pulled out, resetting the trap for the next wearing.
Then the wee mice scurried off to play with the mitten bunnies.

Tying shoelaces is ridiculous. I tie all my shoes loose enough to slip on and pull off. Mousetrap shoes would be better. Big croissant for writing. |

You must have either small, well-lubricated feet - or alternativelty a tolerance for loosely-tied shoelaces and the resultant relative foot/shoe movement that results. |
