Outer 3 layers are cylinders, inner is a tube. Outermost features a winter scene featuring snow. Then you pull it down in springtime to reveal the spring motif layer. Shake it up. little plastic birds fly around. Summer is beach sand with corresponding beach scene, maybe a beach ball or two. Central core is fall with little fake leaves that fly around when you shake it up.

The base has an outer sleeve to cover the units you pull down so they're hidden until next year when the fun begins anew.

Summer's globe could be full of bugs (possibly including bees).
