I always thought this would be best communicated by having a switch that allowed me to turn off one of my headlights briefly. It's probably best if it's a momentary switch so it can't be left off accidently. |

I suppose we could universally agree to flip the inside dome light off and on as a signal. The light's already there and as long as you don't stare right at it you won't get night blindness. |

A sort of morse code might evolve. People could warn of speed traps ahead. Shouldn't cars just have a system that dectects such malfunctions? Probably already exists in luxury cars. Would this be a system for the poor? Impoverished unite!!!
