You told him it was a dumb idea, but the idiot
went and did it anyway. Of course the whole
thing blew up in his face just like you said it
would, but now he's making noises like you
should be feeling sorry for him. Now is the time
to send him a tastefully appointed No-Sympathy
card; the
front cover might have a photograph of
an iceberg or a desert on it, and the text in the
middle might read something like "Told you so,
you stupid git", or "You made your bed, now lie in
it".
