I stepped abouard the aircraft, marvelling at the organic forms of the walls and floor. I had heard of these craft, shaped, externally like a cross between a Cowfish and a Klein Bottle. I never expected to ride in one.

The walls inside seemed to curve together, not quite touching at the ends, but curving back upon themselves.

Not a straight line anywhere, but you would expect that. The floor was designed to aid walking, so you fell down the floor surface in both directions, though that must surely be a visual trick, like the art of Escher.

The elliptical ergonomic seat beckoned. Hyperbole could not explain the comfort of this experience. The 'plane was called the áîéùìá.

Above all, it was faster than any passenger aircraft before it, with its new computer-controlled flight planning.

2D or not 2D. That is the suggestion.

And it would probably arrive before it left.

Other airplanes would have to watch out for it - it certainly wouldn't fly in straight lines.
