If the organisers of the 2004 Athens
Olympics say that all the sporting events
should be performed in the nude, they
could justify this by saying that they were
reviving the original spirit of the games,
etc., etc.
A clever side-effect
will be that no one will notice that none
of
the sporting venues or facilities had been
finished.
[Footnote: Greek
male-only athletics were always
performed
nude. Spartan athletics were also
perfomed nude, but the Spartans allowed
women to compete also, lightly clad]

Most winter sports would not be pleasant naked (at least for the competitors). I think it might actually be more comfortable competing naked in the summer. Plus the weightlessness involved in the pole vault may be interesting to watch. |

Clearly, wrestling is one of the most ancient of Olympic events and was performed by 'Jocks' (No 'Och Aye' jokes!) in the altogether. As for the grab thing - why else do you think that they were greased? |

Many competitors are under eighteen, and no, that doesn't make it illegal. There are a lot of naturists under eighteen, and minors are not banned from nude beaches. Even in movies, underage nudity isn't illegal if it's non-sexual. |
