Odor Relief Vents

When rolling down the windows just isn't an option.

We've all experienced this: you're driving along and either you or one of your passengers emits a god-awful stench from the nether regions. Or, your dog throws up a very cheesy concotion in the backseat. And it's pouring rain outside.

This has a switch, so when an unpleasant odor is detected, you flip the switch and the Odor Relief Vents kick on. The vents have powerful outward blowing fans in them to rapidly flush out all the air in the car (and the offending odor with it), and fresh air is pumped in from forward-mounted ram air vents. The vents are mounted in the rear window to draw the air away from the front of the vehicle where the driver and most important passengers are. When the air is clear, flip the switch and close the vents.

If your dog keeps throwing up in the car, I'm thinking you might want to flush the dog out along with the odor.

She only throws up when she's had cheese. Unfortunately, my friends keep feeding her cheesy snacks when they come over. I've improvised a backseat cover made of dog training pads, covered by a regular washable seat cover, so I don't have to worry about the seats being damaged or soiled, but the stench is horrendous.

What kind of vehicle are we talking about here?.

Oops! I meant where the most important of the passengers are. Sorry.

What did 21Quest say, I couldn't hear him from the backseat?

my old Citroën 2CV had a vent that opened all the way along the front, allowing a gale to blow though... see image in link

That's pretty cool, xenzag. If it had the rear vents to let the ram air out, it would be exactly what I had in mind. Nice link.
