Ok, so guass meters are like $100, right? Not this one; it has a program which reads which monitor driver you have, looks up a database online, and accordingly shows you a concentric grid on your screen, demarcated for gauss units. You then place the EMF source to be gauged against the glass of the monitor...how strong the field is, you will be able to see based on how far the discoloring effect spreads.
