You may have some things and you don't know what to do with them (I know I do). Like:

*An old Epson printer
*Three outdated phone directories
*A torn up leather guitar case
*One large ceramic bathtub
*A set of old bicycle wheels

Submit them to www.basedonwaste.com. Moderator(s) select one submission per day consisting of any several objects and post it. Site-goers then attempt to invent/innovate the best use for the assortment of objects.

Just as a note, though this idea was a bit of a spoof, there was an actual idea behind it in the first place (didn't try to make it in the spirit of bad-jokeism, sorry).

One of my favorite scenes in the movie Apollo 13 is when Nasa techies dump a box of supplies identical to those found on the capsule and are given the task of building an adapter for the CM cartridges to accept LM hoses. One of the names for this type of creative thinking is Functional Freedom - (applies to attitudes toward the use of objects).

       Very cool.

[Treon], the softening is caused by fatigue. The springtime freshness is a short-term endorphin rush, responding to that fatigue. Please ensure you are tucked up in bed by the time it wears off. :)
