Recently, because I can, I've been sort of ignoring the alarm clock and getting up when I feel like it... usually about 6am.
The problem with this is that it costs me a fair bit of lost income and causes my day to go a little pear-shaped in terms of time management.
Bring on the Phobia Alarm Clock.
We run a series of tests and questionnaires for you, before deciding what it is that we should release from your alarm clock, to ensure you get up immediately,
For some people it's buttons; for others it's glitter. Mine is large, hairy, fast-moving spiders.

I found myself cradling a shoe at 4am, just in case the spiders come back. |

But can you accommodate my monophobia without triggering a larger scale disorder? |

Use a blindfold. You can hear there are people around you, though you can't see whether there are, or not. |

Don't you just resent having to sleep? Think of what you could do with that time back. |

I love to sleep. My fear is my alarm clock going off. |

Then sleep faster, [2fries]. |

I don't believe this clock would survive very long with me. I like sleep, and so have been known to hurt alarm clocks that wake me from it, before i am thinking... i have thrown them out windows, at walls, and hit them. Currenty, i am on clock 15 or some number like that. while this would work, i would probably hurt it later. |

Great but can it change to something pleasant on the weekends. You know, carried aloft by 24 vestal virgins to a full english just before the rugby match kicks off type of thing. |

I've already got one of these!
My phobia is high-pitched buzzing noises. |

Try using another human being, instead of a plastic substitute? |
