An alarm clock with a coin operated snooze button, so that if you don't get up, you at least do something useful with the loose change you dumped out of your pocket last night.

I know someone with an alarm set for 4:45am, who routinely shuts it off and snoozes on 'til 6:30am. |

Wait a minute. Just imagine the effort to offer this device with a straight face! Well worth developing this. |

//the focus required to post a coin probably exceeds that critical point where you can't get back to sleep// I would imagine that that is the point of this idea. |

Even more of a bun if you make it multidenominational, ie. insert 8x (given that most currencies operate 1x, 2x, 5x, denominations). This would require you to scrounge around, and wake up a bit. |

Although sleep-a-holics, such as myself, would sequester the necessary funds prior to slumber, and place them in an appropriate locality. |

for me, this may lead to a life of crime -
id have to find enough small change for a
good lie-in the night before
still bun-worty though |

This idea is real good, genius. |

Charities could give these out. That way, you "buy" a few more minutes sleep by donating. When it's full, take it to the charity and they empty it. |
