I think there are all sorts of cleanliness issues before you could make it work on an urban basis. Given that most every house/apartment has a kitchen, why do you see a need for this outside college dorms? |

Baked entirely with okonomiyaki restaurants in Japan. Sit at booth seat, where table is in fact a hot plate, have your ingredients brought to you and heat them right up on the table. Officially, the best tasting food available in Japan. |

There's a chain in the US (don't remember the name - "dream kitchen" or something) that does the opposite of this. You select a recipie, then wander around different bins of food and make it. You then bring this home and cook it in your own oven. |

okonomiyaki is not the same as this. In America, least I know, is that the hibachi grill is close to okonimiyaki. |
