Every now and then there's an idea on the halfbakery that really should be pushed into the oven. For one reason or another - maybe the baker doesn't know where to send it, doesn't have the time to send it, or doesn't have the energy to send it - the idea goes nowhere. The halfbakery might be made better if users who added ideas to it could set a flag saying they were willing to let it be submitted elsewhere. Then people who had been vetted by the bakery (like illustrators and moderators are) could submit it to whatever entity they thought might be able to turn it into reality. If this was done we could then create a view showing which ideas had been submitted and where they'd been submitted so we could watch any progress that takes place. I'm thinking of ideas like the Panic Pin here.

       [UnaBubba], I like to think so too. Then I realise this is mainly a vehicle for the advancement of pirates and custard.   

       I believe that once an idea has been in the public domain (i.e. posted) for over a year, it can't be copywrited anyway.

       There's an oven? This may get me ostracized or stoned in your town, but I believe there's no more oven than we make ourselves. If there were an oven, why wouldn't it give some sign of its existence?
