For those of us who live in cities with lots of greenery and grassed sidewalks the option of walking to work in decent weather is quite viable.
For those people who enjoy golf there is an added benefit... You can break up your walk into a series of shots, depending upon where you want to end up with
each virtual shot.
For some small infrastructure costs it would be simple enough to turn walking paths into an elongated minigolf course, allowing you to putt your way to work.
Every time you have to cross a street you simply sink the ball on this side and it pops up on the other side of the road, waiting for you to catch up.
Get fit and improve your short game as you go. (60% of golf is played within 20metres of the flag.)

The biggest headache would be that your balls would always roll out into the traffic - nearly all footpaths fall to the road. Still + for a great excuse to be late. (60% of golf is played within 20metres of the workplace?) |
