There's nothing like a nice cold ice lolly on a hot summers day to cool down and rehydrate. Unfortunately, there's also nothing like an ice lolly for melting all over your hand and making a sticky mess.

Nevertheless, a sticky hand has always been a small price to pay to combat dehydration which can have various effects including constipation. However, with Pykrete Lollies a person needn't suffer a sticky hand or constipation ever again.

These variously coloured and flavoured summertime treats are made from a blend of edible plant fibres and sugared water to create an almost indestructible, heat resistant lolly with a mouth-watering flavour and a texture that can scour the stubbornest of colons.

"Its use was proposed during World War II by Geoffrey Pyke to the Royal Navy as a candidate material for making a huge, unsinkable aircraft carrier." [mylodon, Aug 12 2008]

Have you ever eaten sugar cane? This reminds me of that. Sortof.

I'm not sure I can bun this, it makes me think of tongue splinters.

If you're going to do this, the lollies should be in the shape of the giant floating airports which Pyke proposed.
