'Wouldn't it be great if that radiator was on....'
Such a common wish, so often unfulfilled.
Public places such as schools, libraries, waiting rooms, hotel lobbies etc. are, more often than not the wrong temperature, normally due to a radiator which should really be turned on (cold weather) or off (hot weather). With this remote, that corresponds to a chip in the radiator (put in at the factory), the public have their say in the temperature of the room.
There would, of course, be a manual override, where if the room is to the teachers/ librarians/receptionists/managers discomfort, the chip can be temporarily disabled by the master remote.
The remotes would have 4 temperature settings - off, low, medium and high, and could be changed once every minute (more often and it becomes silly).
