Head-rest support apparatus for desk-top reading | |
People often use their arms as a head-rest when reading at a desk or table. This causes neck and back muscles to strain and fatugue! This fatigue causes people to doze off while reading. I see it happening in school libraries all the time!
The solution would be a collapsable head-rest that would
properly support the head while reading, thus reducing fatigue. This collapsable head-rest should fit in a school bag and or brief-case to bring to work or school.

I see this head-rest as being of an 'Anglepoise' design. |

Take a rope. Attach to ceiling. Form a loop that adjusts to fit snugly around the neck. Relax, and drift into a pleasant sleep. |

I scanned the picture of the readmate from my "idea book" containing lots of ideas I got over the years. |

The sketch you vaguely see on the reverse side is a special nail polishing pen design with a built in nail file and finger-nail pic. I think I will make it my next idea posting! |

Growing up in the heart of East L.A., I know quite a few people who would LOVE for this idea to come into being. You have no idea how much easier it would make their lives with this thing. Now they won't have to be as sneaky when they steal purses off the back of chairs. The reader's perriferal (sp?) vision would be blocked. Admittedly, they couldn't be outright blatent about it, but not AS stealthy. |
