Recumbent motorized wheelchair

From my nursing home window I watched the four bikers swiftly cutting through the sunny but chill winter day. Their low-slung cycles placed them down out of the wind, and the position looked very relaxing. I sighed in envy. Then I had a defiant thought:

The recumbent motorized wheelchair.

Combining the best features of the recliner and the motorcycle, this product caters to the desires of those who prefer the latter but have geriatrically drifted toward the former. It actually would greatly resemble the reclining chair were it not for the dual I.V. poles, windscreen, and chrome exhaust pipes. The incontinence containment system is nearly unnoticeable, and the nitrous oxide system supplies both the engine and the rider.

Tying my bandana to the top of one pole, I am ready to enjoy the wind in my ear hair...

It was easy enough getting into my recumbent wheelchair. Nurse! How the hell do I get out of this thing?

       Great, unless:

       (1) you get run over because the trucker can't see you.

       (2) You need to take a lift.

There are many home-built recumbent motorcycles out there - see link

What about a recumbent Segeway? That'd be bizzarre.

Does it come with ape hanger bars?

I must say that this is likely the only page that links bedraces and motorcycles in the same breath. Love that barkalounger. Especially the umbrella.

We do need to stylize the Segway. The thing needs a cult crowd.
