Red light, green light

Children's game gone hi-tech.

Take the classic backyard game of Red Light, Green Light. Now replace the lead child with a spinning traffic light complete with motion detection, facial and retinal recognition, and voice synthesis (to point out the losers). Hitting the Big Red Button would proclaim the victor (by this time, buried by a shower of confetti).

I've never heard of the Red light, Green light game, but the description sounds a lot like my sister's wedding.

If you listen very closely, you can hear the sound of a pedant crying...
