My kids have already developed the habit of standing and staring into the open fridge until penguins arrive at the front door.

Sure, the fridge gives a pathetic beep every now and then but I wanted it to really let us know that it's open... to revel in its openness, to shout it to the clouds!

Now, when you open the fridge you can select random tracks from Country, Reggae, Rock, Classical, Movie Tracks and many more.

All by simply mating an iPod to a fridge with a set of speakers.

Personally, I'd have Also Sprach Zarathustra, or Antarctica.

Refrigerator Door Voice Alarm http://www.goldence...atory/koolsure.html
We used to use a battery-operated product similar to this to limit unauthorized access to the refrigerators and drink coolers when there were little ones, midnight-snacking dieters, and beer thieves living in the house. There was nothing "pathetic" about the sound emitted by the units equipped with sirens. [jurist, Oct 26 2005]

I had a cat that would open the fridge and help himself. [po, Oct 27 2005]

That's cruel, [jurist]. I want it to be a pleasant experience, with just a little security aspect thrown in.

Include Mother Goose songs and the kids will be there all day.

       Mmm... hadn't thought of that.
