My friend got a Jolly Rancher stuck in his retainer once in high school. That's when the idea hit me. A retainer made out of hard candy that conforms to the roof of your mouth when you suck on it. Basically, it's a stickless sucker. I haven't worked all the logistics out yet, but I think it could work.
