||It looks like space trash is not collectible by magnets. Aluminum and such I imagine. But these roombas might collect some meteroties.

||I think a large, cushioning mass of gunky foam would be a better solution. Add some correctional jets to reposition it into the best "fishing" orbits and afterwards you could harvest the trapped space junk particles.
