With a little innovation, a good chef can prepare meals with a little visual appeal for patrons with slightly jaded sexual appetites.

Oooohhh! Look at those handcarved courgettes in fennel beurre blanc!
How *did* they get the duck and five-spice sausage that shape? And what is that black, crinkly stuff around it? Chinese Wood Ear Fungus?
That's a brandy snap, in a Grand Marnier cream crepe? Yowzah!

Yes... I know you can get jelly moulds in that shape... Jello wasn't quite the standard of food I had in mind.

If nothing else, at least patrons will have something to talk about, over dinner.

I dunno, hard to tell from the reviews, but... http://www.epinions...-Dick_s_Last_Resort
...it looks Baked to me. Perhaps a Bostonian can confirm or deny. [DrCurry, Jun 16 2002, last modified Oct 05 2004]

A place to wear your Makin' Bacon Apron. [dalek, Oct 04 2004, last modified Oct 05 2004]

Annotation:

There used to be a gentleman's club specializing in this that someone just wrote a book about. Forgotten where I saw the review, tho.

       Peaches and cream?

Hot dogs (in buns) - if a bit simplistic - come to mind. Anyone who's seen 'American Pie' would get understand an apple pie and banana connection. And I once made my wife choke with laughter by surreptuously spearing a green bean with two peas with my fork and showing her the result. I ate the evidence, so no one else knew what was going on.

surreptuously - you are so sensuous, phoenix

At Morehead State University during finals week the Honors students traditionally keep the Honors House open at all unGodly hours of the night, all the while serving penis and breast pancakes, complete with whipped cream and/or cherries on top, respectively. And, come to think of it, the name of the university itself fits in with the theme of this idea, too.

       <blackadder> I've got a turnip shaped like a thingy! </blackadder>

Why is this bacon sandwich standing on its edge?

Very original and great for bachelor(ette) parties. But you have to have ENERTAINMENT in this joint -- TWO strip shows, one with female dancers and one with guys, and have attractive scantily clad waitstaff to boot

LaSparkster, Aug 18 2002

One suggestive croissant for you UB. I don't really like LaSpark's modification tho, I think that would be overdoing things.

I've seen some pasta that would be appropriate for this restaurant. At first glance it looks innocuous enough, but when you look closer...

madradish, Aug 19 2002

There's an African restaurant here which has had a long standing dish called "Gorilla Balls". It's a large battered hot banana lying on a plate, with a round scoop of cinnamon covered deep fried ice-cream on either side. Very popular with women I might add.

       madradish: vaginatore? phallini? do tell.

st3f, Aug 19 2002

       Clitorini?

UnaBubba, Aug 19 2002

       Yep, phallini sounds about right.

I claim prior art. This idea was posted 16 June. That page was posted 10 July. I've been robbed! And by fellow Aussies! The bastards!
