A friend's children walk in their sleep. One of them keeps waking up in the garden and once made it a block before curling up near a hedge.

I see no reason why a Velcro sleeping bag couldn't be attached to the ceiling of a kid's bedroom and the kid suspended in it, like a chrysalis, overnight. Safety ensues.

If you get them used to it as babies then it could cut down on wasted space for bedrooms, in the future.

It might also make sex very interesting for them, once they grow up but not out of the sleeping style.

Also, this sleeping system would be good for ship's crews - each suspended sleeper would enjoy a motion-free kip! Imagine a room full of pirates all snugged up...arrgh!
