The result of an accident at the wire bending plant. | |
Nothing ever seems to go wrong in the Straight Pin making division of Wire Co., but on one ironic and tragic day something went horribly wrong in the Safety Pin division.
As the story goes, a trainee in IT installed paperclip making CNC software into the Safety Pin line by accident. The result was
thousands of paperclips that could also be closed like safety pins.
The tragedy was that this shipment of 'Safety Clips' was shipped directly to a consumer, who had no use for the pin function, thereby causing a significant loss in utility.
