This is a carpet that moves beneath your feet when you walk. It is shaped like a scroll. When you step forward you unroll the front and the material in your wake rolls up behind you.

It's more concise, I'll give you that. Optimistic bun. Better luck second time around. |

If I've understood this right, wouldn't you need an unobstructed amount of space for that, say, if you had one in your front room? |

We have rugs and carpets in our house obviously (we love the modern world), and inevitably stuff gets put on them, ie tables and chairs.
Plus, if you're walking behind someone does that mean you're constantly tripping over a carpet that is rolling itself beneath your feet? |

[kuupuuluu] This is a long narrow carpet but is scrolled up to the size of a small mat, nothing is placed on it. You just stand on it. Also, if you're walking behind someone, its not unrolling under your feet, its rolling back up behind them. I thought of this as something that could be used as a mat for the foot of your bed, so in the morning you could just roll along your hardwood or parquet floor on some nice cozy carpet. Perhaps instead of carpeting your house you can just have a Scroll carpet at every corner so you can just roll over to the next one. And then roll back on them. |

Ahh ok I gotcha. Would be amusing to watch someone being 'shadowed' in your house by active carpets! |

...or to your feet to get that lovely carpet feeling; but without the bother of having a carpet to keep clean. |
