Wallpaper could be made out of the same material as self-healing mats used for various crafts but only one 10th the thickness. The ideal application of this would be a teen’s room where tacking up new pictures on their wall daily is common and would eliminate the appearance of all the ugly holes until
the inhabitant or the inhabitant’s parents decide to remove it.
The obvious problems are the cost is prohibitive, and that at 1/10th the thickness tacks would go right through the wallpaper and into the drywall requireing the little holes to be patched up if the wallpaper is ever removed, but I'm sure there must be some people who wouldnt be detered from buying it for either of those reasons.

Rods tiger: I like the idea of self-healing mat material better than cork because self healing matting is smooth and could be printed in various colors and even wallpaper patterns. |
