I saw the "Unstoppable ATV" on u2b [link] and it got me thinking of an easy way to park: If there was a way to bring up the center of gravity (e.g. by pumping water) when parking, and then to "roll" the car sideways it would be a fast way to get into parking with no extra wheels or moving parts.

You'de need the door located in a new place, and you can't leave loose stuff around in the car, because it will fall to the side. But it will look cool and get attention for the 2012 new car concept contest, or for the finals for an industrial designer student.

Like fuel, lubricants, hydraulic fluids, battery electrolyte.

These problems aren't insuperable; gel batteries can be inverted, and aircraft have systems designed to endure substantial negative-G.

       Gimbals is the answer.

No, gimbals is the question. "No" is the answer.
