"Go Gillian Go", shouted the raging father from the sidelines. "Take the shot!" he loudly insisted. "It's open, it's open!" heard the child; her little legs pumping as fast as she could pump them, head obliviously down watching feet carry a ball for fear that they would lose it, and her fathers love.
"Kick
it!" he screamed, forgetting the remote he clutched with a force only comparable to that which he controlled his daughter. Only when she glanced towards him momentarily with a look of utter uncertainty, did he aim the footprint shaped remote, pressing a button on the top left side.
Instantaneously, and silently, the signal travelled to the shoe, lighting up the corresponding LED in the foot, with which once struck would determine the direction of the ball into the net. Allowing the player the freedom not to make such crucial decisions, and the parents to live vicariously through their children. [link]

By extension, when the soccer dads pull guns on each other in the most eloquent single expression of all that's wrong with modern western society, can the kids send a feedback shock to force them to down weapons? Or is it only a one-way process. |

Remote controlled children's shoes? Interesting. Why not get them to do the running as well - allowing parents to steer their prodigy around the field, like playing a computer game. |

I like the concept, but have absolutely no idea how you'd achieve this, but that's not my problem - it's yours. |

Pastry for the implicit asumption that soccer is a game for young girls. |
