Espresso coffee machines of the sort marketed for the home are invariably dressed up in plastic and metal trim to look 'acceptable' as a kitchen appliance.
This idea is not much of an idea, more of a style variant.
Make a coffee machine that is as skeletal and case-free as can be done, and while
we're at it, use as many transparent parts as feasible.
It'd be nice to see the thing for what it is, and not some dressed-up mysterious fairing. Just the guts. Just what it takes to work and stand up with rigidity.
