Half a croissant, on a plate, with a sign in front of it saying '50c'

This would work fine, except in terms of success.

Was that a Power Rangers reference? What the hell's wrong with me...?

Too many products self-righteously claim to be the greatest thing since sliced bread--an awfully tall order to fill--but what about the greatest thing FOR sliced bread?

Enter the dragon. I mean the sliced bread flipbook. On each piece a different frame of animation is printed, whether a scene from an existing movie/cartoon or something original. Buy a few different loaves of bread and create your own random scene! Perhaps Popeye can fight Optimus Prime to win over the love of Pikachu, only to be betrayed by the likes of Master Shredder. Meanwhile, Gary Coleman shouts "Whatchoo talkin bout Willis?" and some mimes do some stuff for no apparent reason. I don't know.

The bread version would need to be closed-captioned. [Amos Kito, Oct 17 2004]

Something about mold as a coloring agent for the animation...

Maybe we could mix this with "fortune bread" for the script of our featurette.
