We've all had the problem: you know what you want to do. You suspect the computer knows what you want it to do. But instead of doing this, it does what you tell it to do.

It shouldn't be too much trouble for a sufficiently clever computer to do what you want to do.

Re-inforcement mechanisms could be added - for example, hit the screen when it does something wrong, pat the keyboard or mouse when it does well.

Look at pieces like the Autocorrect functions in MS Office products. Its one of the first things I turn off when I start working on a new computer. Hitting the computer didn't help. However, in a far, happy future there may be computers like advanced HALs that know what is good for you.
