The word "How?" springs to mind at this point.

Smart ventilated headphones

You probably saw [beanangel]'s idea that I just added a link to. I propose headphones with vents that open and close automatically. When the audio and outside noise are quiet, the vents open so your ears can air out. When either gets loud, they close to keep the sounds separated. (They may or may not be noise-canceling too. Alternatively, they could have a bonus feature of opening to admit important external sounds like someone yelling at you to get out of the way of a train.) The vents can be actuated by whatever is practical—motors, solenoids, HASEL muscles, etc. The actuators are powered by an integrated rechargeable battery that can be charged with a USB cable and power source.

       Air-conditioned headphones would be better.

Peltier-effect coolers (which are silent) and moisture removal systems would be needed.

If vents operate fast enough, would the demon talk?
