Activated like a normal chemical glowstick, these however would have the glowing chemicals incorporated into a matrix of tobacco (and possibly other substances as desired by the purchaser).
When the users depraved drug-fuelled craving for glowing objects had abated, the accompanying craving for
something to smoke could also be conveniently assuaged.

From Wikipedia, H202 is corrosive, bent and is used as an emetic by vets. And phenol is toxic. And Oxalic acid irritates the lining of the gut when consumed, and can prove fatal in large doses. |

Clearly some other less toxic form of illumination would have to be used, the devil always lying in the details. |
