I don't watch or follow much football (or Soccer, for my fellow Americans who still refuse to call the sport by it's most appropriate name... but then what should we call American football? Oh, well.. We'll dicuss that later...

Yeah, so like I was saying, I don't watch much football but I always get a kick (no pun intented) out of the guys who draw a penalty for the other team by rolling around the ground in mock agony in an attempt to pull sympathy from the refs. I want see at least 15 minutes of the best (i.e. dramatic AND un-deniably fake) performances of players rolling around in pain. That will provide me with just as much amusement as any other bloopers tape I've seen.

It would be hard to come up with the best of the best, every game in my mind is it's own Fakers Compilation... and not much else.

Mr Buttersworth, Jan 26 2007

I saw a TV ad that featured a "hidden" TV camera sneaking up on a training camp for some international team - while they were doing their "fake injury" drills. Jog, jog, jog, and... FALL DOWN!

if only it was Soccer's Best Fakirs instead... then we could watch them doing the famous Indian Rope Trick and disappearing one by one in a puff of smoke as they reached the top. That really would be magic.

"every game in my mind is it's own Fakers Compilation... and not much else"

You watch US teams playing, right? THat's about as worthwhile as watching Scottish gridiron.

Murdoch, Jan 30 2007

If it was "Football's Best Fakers Being Kicked into the Nearest Stand by a Hulking, Great Centre Half with no Talent Whatsoever", then I might give it a watch.

DrBob, Feb 01 2007

Ah - that would be the Leeds United team of the early-mid 70s playing Argentina/Uruguay/The Netherlands.
