Soft palate protector

Dissolving dam for the roof of your mouth

A slow dissolving protector film that adheres to the roof of the mouth and prevents hot pizza burns. Save your mouth from peeling blistered roof liner skin. If mouth already burnt, will prevent the dreaded repeat burn and the Cap'n Crunch exfoliation torture. Pliable, it conforms to shape of soft palate and has no flavor to affect food and will eventually dissolve away.

This is for oral use only, right?

[DN] For non-oral applications there may be a market in nudist camps. It can really hurt to sit down on a hot bench without protection. Of course the foil has to be transparent because you want to look nude while you wear it.

Sounds like a good way to gag.

Instead of blowing on the pizza you could use the blast from a scuba bottle ... and then scrape the chilled remnants off the wall.

When all you eat is beer and ketchup, it's probably inconsequential...

Wait, how is this preferable to blowing on food? I mean, it's free, and takes less foresight.

Sadly, Homer Simpson already invented the candle wax palette protector for use on the guatamalan insanity pepper. hilarity ensued.
