I've heard of people using magnifying glasses to light cigarettes or pipes, but the screw on focusing, and attatching it to the pipe are completely unbaked as far as I can tell. |

Darn fine idea for a pipe smoker on a sunny day. I knew I'd seen this idea before, but it was in an anno. |

\\I was reading a magazine for "smoking products" one day and I saw an ad for little glass pipes with built-in magnifying glasses over the bowls. These probably only work on sunny days but this idea's already baked. And they say that stuff's not good...go figure.\\

You smoke ants? That's kinda novel. |

Don't you have those yummy green ants in Queensland, [UB]? I bet they would make a fine smoke. |

Now, does this work because the loupe causes a bit of downdraft into the pipe bowl? |

You eat them, [bungston]. The really yummy ones live out in the red, sandy country. They store honey, like bees. They also taste delicious. |

I know that paper wasps give off a fair bit of smoke when you set their nests on fire. I'm not sure what part they play in our ecology but I'm willing to do without them. |
