A light on a car that is forward facing that sends out a bright green strobe flash 3 times to inform the person to speed up. For highway driving it will also strobe in a pattern to the right to tell the driver in front of you to move over so you can pass them.

Shortly to follow are all the naysayers who will say why this is bad....and I might have to agree with some of them.

But as a fast, skilled driver who lives in So Cal traffic, I'm eating a croissant while pushing the go-faster light button.

you drive your car and I will drive mine. I think this would be distracting and annoying. strobes can cause epileptic fits to boot!

I thought this would be a light that goes on between green and yellow. My idea's better.

People don't pay attention to the move over signal (flashing your headlights at them) what would make them pay attention to the speed up signal?

Maybe not green strobe, but the idea's not bad.
