Sportifying the Political Process
The new and improved election process

A representitive from each state or province is decided by the people of that state or province. Then, the country holds a massive sporting event where teams picked by the local representitive from each state-province compete in a game of elimination dodgeball. The representitive that picked the #1 team then gets elected president of the nation, the #2 team representitive gets elected vice president, the number #3 team gets elected secretary of state, and so on and so-forth until all 50 or so political positions get filled for that nation's capital. The dodgeball event gets re-initiated every 2-4 years or whenever there is a convenient enough scandal in the capital city.
