In the case of the internet going down (which happened on Monday afternoon), it’d be useful to have a backup of certain things, in stone, just in case the internet doesn’t come back up for a few millennia.

Simply use an agreed-upon type of stone, in an agreed-upon place, and have an agreed-upon stone-climbing reductive 3D printer to chisel the current bitcoin blockchain number (or if the day has been particularly hectic, numbers) into the stone tablets.
