This is a mechanical mouthpiece that fits over the teeth. The space that the teeth are inserted into is full of brush heads. The brush heads are individually set in motion by opening and closing one's mouth. The motion is distributed to the brush heads mechanically from the mouthpiece's hinge. This
is a hands-free method of dental hygiene. The outside surface of Teethbrushes resemble false teeth so the wearer can maintain their oral health anywhere that foaming at the mouth is acceptable. Chewable Toothbrush

The image in [ldischler]'s link isn't loading for me, but doesn't appear to be broken. Anyone else has this problem? |

[+]. Could add in ultrasonic cleaning and possibly some chemicals? |

[rcarty], try the link again. I moved it to my own website. |

Thanks. Yes, that's pretty much what I had in mind with a few exceptions. That device utilizes reciprocal motion of the brush heads and an external pneumatic power source. I was hoping for just a mouthpiece, but pneumatics would probably work better than what I had in mind, even though I didn't specify what mechanism. |

can you talk at the same time? |
|
| |
I can. But you might have trouble understanding. |

One possible variation - the brushes could be rotary, and there could be a sink adaptor and hose to turn them with water pressure. |
|
| |
You may have to use it in the shower. |

Didn't that start out as an Elephant Man reference? |

It's a second-degree reference |

I hope its not bulkey, reminds me of the dentist office. Every tool the dentist uses seems to be bigger than it is. Or maybe I have a smaller mouth than most. I would still buy it given you could sleep with it in. |
