Make pasta in the form of tent flies and camp under them.
Carry it in a moist state, in a sealed bag. Upon choosing a campsite, open and unfurl, ensuring your tent is the shape you want. Allow the sun to dry it out for you, so it stays that shape. For reasonably short stays just break off a bit,
hydrate, heat, season, eat at mealtimes.
Particularly useful if you run out of food but still have water available.

but what about the sauce? |

<deliberately misunderstanding>I'm sorry, but I don't want flies in my pasta, even if they are encased in a miniature tent.</dm> |

I betcha the bears would like it, even without the sauce. |

They would .... fresh pasta parcels, with a delicious meaty filling ! They'd be queueing round the block ... |

It has the sound of a cruel and cynical, yet strangely compelling, disaster assitance programme. |

1. Drop pasta tents to the survivors. |
|
| |
2. Wait for them to erect the tents. |
|
| |
3. Release a large number of hungry bears in the vicinity. |
|
| |
4. Film natural selection in action. |

Right on [8th] But now that I think about it it's a variation of
my Random Ravioli idea except for bears. [link] |

Bear 1: "I love these things. They make me feel so... exotic!" |
|

Bear 2: "Mm-mmm, Ravioli umano, bellissimo!" |

I have to admit to not having given a thought to bears. The only bears in Australia are hairy, wear leather and march in pride parades. |
