This would be a vibrator that could have many of various fourier functions put onto it. Maybe one day your in the mood for a repeating exponential growth rate of frequency, but maybe the next day you're more into a square or sawtooth wave, or perhaps maybe you want to go with the random-gieger (white
noise) function input. Whatever it is, it'll take a nerd or a geek to figure it out :)

My knowledge is a little faded on this, but Fourier transforms are two dimentional, are you summing twin orthogonal subwoofer driven masses and for what effect. |
|
| |
I'll refer you to the category on that question. |
|
| |
Also, actually, it doesn't have to be 2 dimensional at all. You have a time dimension, and two (X&Y oscillations) or three spacial dimensions (Z-pogo vibrations too) if you like. The oscillations could be driven by a speaker like device, yeah, but the functions would be programmed on a calculator or synthensizer type device. |
|
| |
Sorry my first anno was written on my phone, and I missed the category, so I was thinking massager. |
|
| |
Mumble. All that Fourier says is that, hey, whatever wave you want to make, we can approximate it by adding other waves - if you say that you want to have a "Fourier function" on something, you might just as well say that you want it to be programmable in general. And oh yeah, once it reaches the end of its programming, it repeats. Tada! |
|
| |
(However, even though you're blinding me with science here, I cannot begin to tell you how much I support having a line of vibrators named after physicists. Start with the "Fourier", have a glow-in-the-dark model called the "Madam Curie", and of course, our strongest model, the "Ohm".) |

In 2006, a company called JeJoue was making a big deal out of having "invented" a programmable vibrator. Its users were supposed to trade "grooves" (sound files) and use "PleasureWare" software to edit them - the press was more than happy to repeat this story, but today, in 2008, there's no sign of either of these. JeJoue does produce a vibrator, but its programmability amounts to selecting between five different modes, either directly or with some random variability. |
|
| |
Meanwhile, there's a large number of "play sound through a vibrator" gadgets out there, e.g. the OhMiBod line. |
|
| |
Well, that just turns it into a 1 player game now, doesn't it!? Yet, perhaps somebody could plug it into a modified guitar amp or keyboard jack too though! |

Thanks [jutta], your link almost got me tossed out of the library. Ha! |
|
| |
Just a courtessy I guess, I deleted and then reposted your link with a content warning [Jutta]....hmmm. |
|
| |
Noted...lol. Still, we can't afford to have halfbakers being 'almost kicked out of libraries' though. After all, libraries are one of many halfbaker's most sacred institutions for learning stuff. |

Cool - along with the G spot, we may now discover an "F spot" (stimulated only by Fourier waves) and an "E spot", maximally stimulated by the Exponential. |
|
| |
C, D, E, F, G, A, B, C spots. |
|

Cool, Deep, Extreme, Flat, Gräfenberg, After (aka Wet), Brown and Cream. |

Out of interest, has anyone used the OhMiBod? can you actually tell what music is being played through it and if so, what is your reaction to hearing the music afterwards. |
|
| |
Actually it would be quite interesting to know your reaction to the music afterwards if you cant feel what music it was. |
|
| |
Oh, and maybe after a little Fourier Play, somebody could hit the Bessel Function resonances. |

I read an On Our Backs magazine thing about the clitoris a lot of it is am bedded with surrounding tissue |

I thought the Custom acoustic vibrator might have transducers that cofocused on these areas |

Not to be confused with the Five-O'-Ya Vibrator, otherwise known as your hand. |

Not to be confused with the Yeast Suppository applicator. |

I'm sure there is something in this. I've noticed that a varying rhythm during coitus leaves women less unsatisfied than a constant rhythm. |

Now with torsion waves (dTheta/dt) and Euler angle wobbles (dPhi {XZ & YZ-planes}/dt). |

What the hell? Do the Borg not have the 5th amendment? |

Yes, of course we do, but in our Constitution it prohibits transporting watercress across a state line by rickshaw during a thunderstorm. |
|

We've never quite worked out why we put that in. We blame local interest groups. And those lovely little blue and yellow capsules we bought off that bloke in the nightclub .... |

Comes with an assortment of longitudinal and laditudinal shaped ridges and various other ridged hatch patterns. Comes in an assortment of flavored lubricants. Works on people, borgs, and animals of all genders, sizes, and shapes! |
|

I was also confused by //Fourier Functions//. I assume you simpy mean periodic functions, although I'm still not sure if this limits it to monthly use. |
|
| |
Good point spidermother. While I don't take responsibility on people's sex patterns, I suppose some people would use this daily (frisky daters!?) and other people (married folk!?) would use it yearly. |
