Unrewarded genius is almost a cliche, in this fast-paced world. At the HCC this never happens.
Your pissweak ideas are praised, your tender ego stroked and your rose-coloured glasses polished while you wait.
It doesn't relly matter too much whether you've been successful or not. If we wait a
week then you'll have found a new bugbear, to fulfill the role of drama queen motivation in your life.
At HCC we know this, and simply charge you a small monthly fee to ensure that seldom is heard a discouraging word.
No real harm is done and you go home at the end of the evening, happy believing that you can take on the world.
Attitude isn't everything, it's the only thing. Moral Support Counsellor
Moral_20Support_20Counsellor A *much* better idea. [DrBob, Nov 16 2005]

23 hits from searching HCC here on the HB. Duh. |

Terrible idea [UB], lacking any spark of originality or wit and arising from a dull mind. Go away and don't come back until you've learnt to think. |
|
| |
P.S. This is not the.... :) |
|
| |
Who are you, and what have you done with [Unabubba]? |
|
| |
Sounds like that song by Billy Joel. |
|
| |
Which one? "Only The Good Die Young". |
|
| |
No, the one where the super-talented piano player makes all the losers in the bar feel really great. |
|
| |
Damnit! Who's been letting losers in the bear again?! |
|
| |
Ah, yes, I remember doing a parody version of another song, asking someone to find a rubber mango on the internet. It worked. |
|
| |
Can I join adorned with a plastic red heart stuck to my left boob, a stupid grin, *and* a free membeship? |
|
| |
We can arrange the free mambeship [sic], but we require a real heart and a plastic smile, I'm afraid. |
|
| |
//a real heart and a plastic smile, I'm afraid.// |

Brilliant! Genious! Welcome! A bun and a hug from me! :))))))) - Can I take your glasses, please, sir? |
|
| |
Is Unabubba actually Stuart Smalley? <"Because I'm good enough, I'm smart enough, and doggonit, people like me!"> |

[UB], you know damn well that cuddling will lead to fornication and, ultimately, line dancing. I wouldn't want that on my conscience! |
|
| |
Ewww, line dancing. Now there's a travesty that will eventually pass, thank Zeus. |
|
| |
Not very likely, actually. The very first decorated pots are decorated with line dances (most probably circle dances, but same difference). We have done this since the dawn of time, and will do it until we are human no more. |
|
| |
(Well, *I* haven't actually ever done it, nor ever will, but you know what I mean.) |
|
| |
The Greek pottery items I have seen were decorated with something not exactly line dancing, though the human figures were undoubtedly conjoined in long chainlike configurations. Some sort of horizontal folk dancing, it seemed. |
|
| |
Well, I think that was ConsulFlaminicus' point above. |
|
| |
This is good. Everyone needs a cuddle sometimes.... |
|
| |
I think you've come to the wrong place, [Minimal]. |
