The Pirates Of Exchange

Pi, being at least 3.14

Whenever the exchange rate in a financial thingy place reaches the rate of 3.14, this should be recognised as the pi-rate. Whereupon, everyone should switch to pirate speech mode, me hearties.

I love this idea. I think pirate talk is stylish and passionate. I got this buddy whom I get drunk with and we speak pirate into the wee hours of the morn. I'm not even that good at it, but damn its fun. I think it would really brighten up the workplace. Maybe have parrots come out of chambers in the walls and plastic palms release form the ceiling every time the rate is hit as well, then for about five minutes, everyone is free to carry on and loot eachother's desk.

So, extending this principle, when the exchange rate hits 2.71 do we all start talking like Yorkshiremen? ("Eee, ...")

could.... or maybe should.... apply to inflation. meaning our politicians must dress up thus whenever the number is reached, to alert the population.

great idea, but i wish i knew more than 'arr', 'matey', and so on...its bad when your good name rides on it. But some of the other annotators seem to be really good. (+)
